Firefighters Put Out Blaze At Home And Find Marijuana Grow Operation At A House In San Jose

Firefighters have put out a one-alarm fire at a San Jose residence that was the scene of a marijuana grow operation on Sunday night, a fire dispatcher said.

The fire was reported in the 2600 block of Lanier Lane near Pellier Drive at 10:32 p.m. Sunday, according to a fire dispatcher.

A marijuana grow operation was discovered inside the single-family home and the residents were present when firefighters received the emergency call, the dispatcher said.

The fire was under control by 12:24 a.m. today, a fire dispatcher said.

No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
