Police are investigating a possible residential burglary in Petaluma on Tuesday morning. Officers responded to a report at about 11:40 a.m. from a resident in the 500 block of Acadia Drive who believed an intruder may have been inside, police said. Police said responding officers set up a perimeter and a police dog team searched the neighborhood.
An investigation revealed that at least one suspect forced entry in a sliding glass door at the back of the house. Police said it is unknown what items were taken. No suspects have been located or identified.
