Police in South San Francisco are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a driver who fled the scene of an injury crash early this morning. Officers responded to a report of a crash involving two vehicles at the intersection of Linden and Baden avenues at about 12:05 a.m., police said.

The driver of a red, two-door sports car — possibly a Chevrolet Monte Carlo — was apparently trying to make a left turn when the car crashed into a second vehicle containing three people, police said. The suspect fled the scene in the sports car and was last driving on Baden Avenue heading toward Airport Boulevard, police said. Two occupants of the victim vehicle suffered minor injuries, police said. They were treated at the scene and released.
