Two suspects are still at large after contacting victims about buying property on Craigslist in East San Jose on Monday and then forcing them at gunpoint to withdraw money from a bank, police said.

San Jose police were contacted at 9:04 p.m. Monday by the victims at a residence in the 3100 block of Aborn Road about a suspected robbery and kidnapping, police said.

The victims told officers that they had used the online classified website Craigslist to meet with people to sell them some property, according to police.

But when the suspects arrived, they brandished handguns, forced the victims into their car, drove them to a bank and made them withdraw money, officers said.

The robbers then fled the area with an unknown amount of cash, police reported.

Officers are still looking for the suspects and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
