Sandra Aparicio arrested in connection with a residential burglary in Belmont

Police said today a second suspect has been arrested in connection with a residential burglary in Belmont last month. Sandra Aparicio, 33, was arrested at about 3 p.m. Saturday for her alleged involvement in the Feb. 28 burglary of a home in the 1100 block of Irwin Street, Belmont police Capt. Patrick Halleran said. Aparicio’s arrest followed the arrest last Wednesday of Alvaro Alarcon Jr. in connection with the same burglary, according to Halleran. Aparicio was booked into jail in Redwood City on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property, use of a stolen credit card, identity theft and conspiracy.
