A manhunt involving multiple police agencies is underway after an officer was shot and injured in San Francisco’s Mission District neighborhood.

Police say the officer is in stable condition and is expected to survive.

Over two dozen police officers are still on the scene at Florida and 25th streets, where the shooting happened.

Police say that it all started with a traffic stop just before 3 p.m. Saturday. Shots were fired and at least one officer was hit. We’re told he was struck in the arm. This prompted a pursuit.

Police say the suspect may live on the 1300 block of Florida Street, where all of this began.
