San Jose police are looking for one or more suspects who fired multiple shots that pierced a garage door and struck a man in South San Jose last week, a police spokeswoman said.
At about 6:55 p.m. Thursday, officers received a report of shots fired at a home in the 4400 block of Palisade Drive across from Hellyer County Park, Sgt. Heather Randol said.
Multiple bullets had been fired into the garage door by someone inside a car, wounding the victim, who was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, Randol said.
The shooter fled in the car, and no suspects have been arrested in the case, Randol said.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, she said.
