Police have recovered one of two Ford utility trucks that were stolen in front of Petaluma residences this week, a police sergeant said.

A white 1990 Ford F350 truck that was stolen Wednesday night or early Thursday morning was recovered at 9 a.m. Thursday in the 4600 block of Adobe Road, Petaluma police Sgt. Ken Savano said. The tools and equipment that were in the truck’s utility boxes were stolen.

Police are still looking for a bronze Ford F350 utility pickup that was stolen Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, Savano said.

The truck has the name Critchfield Mechanical Inc. written on the side. Its California license plate is 10913H1.

Police are advising owners of similar vehicles to take extra precaution to secure them and report any suspicious activity.
