New York Police Officer James Li Shot Multiple Times Trying to Stop Bus Fare Jumper



Rookie New York Police Officer James Li was just out of the academy when he and his partner Officer Randy Chow saw Suspect Rashaun Robinson and another man allegedly getting on a city bus through the back door and attempting to evade paying.

When the officers contacted the suspects, they ran away and Robinson turned around with a gun and shot Officer Li multiple times.

Two off-duty EMT’s saw Officer Li on the ground and administered 1st aid while other witnesses pointed out to police where Robinson was hiding.
