Oakland police are seeking three suspects who have committed a series of armed robberies at North Oakland businesses recently. The three suspects are thought to have been involved in as many as five robberies at service-oriented businesses on or near major North Oakland streets including San Pablo Avenue, College Avenue and Telegraph Avenue, police said today.
The suspects are described as a black men associated with a 2007 silver Dodge Nitro, license plate 6DEK551, according to police. The first suspect is 20 to 25 years old, of average height and build, with short black hair and a receding hairline, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and pants. The second suspect is described as average height and build with black hair and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, pants and bright red shoes.
The third suspect is described as heavy set, with a darker complexion than the other suspects, and was seen wearing a cap and dark hooded jacket. All three are thought to be armed with firearms and potentially dangerous, police said.
