Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop but the vehicle fled. The driver of the car, 37-year-old Marsha Primer, dropped off the passenger of the car, 43-year-old Errol Stewart, at the on-ramp to Interstate Highway 580, according to police.

Stewart was arrested by San Leandro police while Primer led police on a chase, which was taken over by the California Highway Patrol, police said. Police said the chase went into San Francisco where it ended. Primer was then arrested for felony evading and possessing a stolen vehicle. Stewart was booked on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine.
