A man was injured in a drive-by shooting in unincorporated San Pablo on Tuesday evening, a Contra Costa County sheriff’s spokesman said today.
The shooting happened in the 2800 block of Rollingwood Drive around 6 p.m., according to sheriff’s spokesman Jimmy Lee.
Deputies arrived and found the victim, a 32-year-old man, lying on the ground with at least one gunshot wound.
Emergency responders gave medical aid to the man, who was taken to Highland Hospital in Oakland. He was last listed in stable condition, according to Lee.
The spokesman said deputies and Richmond police officers searched the area for the suspect vehicle but were unable to locate it.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
