Police are looking for a man who robbed a Fremont bank this afternoon. The robbery occurred around 1:40 p.m. at the Patelco Credit Union at 5166 Mowry Ave., police said. A man entered the bank and handed an employee a note demanding money, according to police. The employee complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect ran from the bank.
The suspect is described as a black man in his mid to late 30s standing between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall. He has a thin to medium build and was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with a light colored graphic on the left side. Police have released images of the suspect taken from video surveillance.
