A 16-year-old Brentwood boy was arrested after two teens were stabbed this afternoon, according to police. Brentwood police Sgt. Bryan Smith said police located a 17-year-old stabbing victims on Pine Street near Second Street, with wounds to his head and upper torso, and a 16-year-old with a stab wound to his forehead on Diablo Way near Pine Street around 4:15 p.m.

The 17-year-old was taken by ambulance to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek for treatment and the 16-year-old was taken to Sutter Medical Center. Both boys were Brentwood residents and appeared to have non-life threatening injuries, Smith said. Investigators identified a 16-year-old Brentwood boy as the suspect and arrested him at his home, Smith said. A weapon was recovered.
