The King County sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in identifying the body of a newborn baby found on a highway near North Bend in Washington State.
The sheriff’s office has released an image of the Target Home Collection blanket in which the dead infant was found. They are hoping the public can help identify the person who left the child, with its umbilical cord still attached, near the side of a road.
“We’re looking for somebody to help us identify who this baby belonged to,” said Cindi West with the King County sheriff’s office. “Somebody has got to know somebody who was pregnant recently that is suddenly not pregnant anymore, and there no baby is sight.”
