A man who was fatally stabbed during a fight in a Hayward parking lot early Saturday morning has been identified by police as 24-year-old Jayson Dutt. Dutt, a Hayward resident, was stabbed around 12:20 a.m. in a city parking lot near the back of 1082 B St. downtown, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Three men have been arrested in connection with the stabbing, and police have identified them as 29-year-old Daniel Ramirez, 27-year-old Robert Ramirez and 19-year-old Jose Vasquez.

Two of the suspects suffered stab wounds in the fight, police said. All three are scheduled to be arraigned at the Hayward Hall of Justice on Wednesday. Police believe the stabbing stemmed from an argument between two groups of people, and are investigating the possibility that the dispute was gang-related. According to Dutt’s Facebook profile, he graduated from Mount Eden High School in Hayward in 2007 and from Chabot College in Hayward last year.
