Christopher Yorrie, Alleged Car Burglary Suspect Caught After Search in Pleasanton

A police search of a Pleasanton neighborhood netted a suspected car burglar early Monday morning, according to police. A resident on Camino Brazos saw someone taking property from a parked car there at about 3:45 a.m. and then walk away, police said. Officers set up a perimeter and found a man hiding in the bushes near the corner of Hansen Drive and Camino Brazos, according to police.

They found the man with items police said were stolen from unlocked cars in the 5400 block of Ridgevale Road, the 2200 block of Fairfield Road and the 2100 block of Camino Brazos. The man, identified as 40-year-old Christopher Yorrie of Oakland, was arrested and booked into Santa Rita Jail on suspicion of possession of stolen property and prowling.
