Neal Bentley Morton Arrested For Embezzling Thousands Of Dollars From Monterey Golf Club

A Salinas man was arrested for allegedly embezzling thousands of dollars from the golf club where he worked as a manager, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office.

Neal Bentley Morton, who worked at Tehama Golf Club in Carmel, was arrested on Saturday around 1 p.m., sheriff’s officials said.

He was booked into Monterey County Jail on 16 counts of forgery, embezzlement and grand theft in the amount of $33,621.75, according to the sheriff’s office.
