Bryan Kongvongsay and Samphong Kongvongsay arrested for alleged possession of an assault rifle, handguns and narcotics in Suisun City

Two male residents were arrested for possession of an assault rifle, handguns and narcotics on Thursday in Suisun City, a police sergeant said. At about 12:40 p.m. on Thursday, officers served a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of Mosswood Drive, located about three blocks from Heritage Park, according to Fairfield police Sgt. Franco Cesar.

The Fairfield Police Department’s Narcotic Investigations Unit and Special Operations Team recovered an assault rifle, two handguns, about a pound of suspected marijuana and a substantial amount of suspected methamphetamine, Cesar said. Officers arrested 19-year-old Bryan Kongvongsay and 41-year-old Samphong Kongvongsay, both of Suisun City, on possession of narcotics and weapons, according to Cesar. Both suspects were booked into Solano County Jail.
