Police Seek Public’s Help In Tracking Down A Man Who Allegedly Robbed The E’s Ranch Milk Store In Watsonville

Police are seeking a man who robbed a store in Watsonville on Thursday morning.

Officers responded at about 6:20 a.m. Thursday to a report of a robbery that had just occurred at the E’s Ranch Milk store located at 1 S. Green Valley Road, police said.

Investigators learned that a Hispanic man in his late 20s or early 30s entered the store, told the clerk he had a gun in his backpack and demanded cash, according to police.

Police said the suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot. He was last seen heading west on South Green Valley Road.

No one was injured in the robbery.

Watsonville police and Santa Cruz County sheriff’s deputies searched for the suspect but were unable to track him down.

He is described as about 5 feet 10 inches tall with dark skin and a thick dark mustache. He was last seen wearing a black and gray knitted hat, sunglasses, a dark scarf, a gray jacket and jeans and had a black backpack.
