Three Oakland women were arrested in Scotts Valley this week in connection with multiple commercial burglaries, police said.
Police were notified of the burglaries, which involved merchants in the area of 210 Mt. Hermon Road, shortly after 5 p.m. on Monday.
Officers contacted Briana Mitchell, Tamia Spates and Markeyah Zinn, all 19, who matched the descriptions of the burglary suspects, according to police.
Investigators linked the trio to a car that contained a “vast amount” of stolen property, police said.
All three women were arrested and booked into Santa Cruz County Jail on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and conspiracy.
The investigation is ongoing, and police said Mitchell, Spates and Zinn could face additional charges.
