Police Investigating Stabbing Of 38-year-old Man in Petaluma

Petaluma police are investigating an incident in which a 38-year-old man was stabbed on Sunday night, a police sergeant said.

The incident occurred in the 900 block of Ely Boulevard South shortly after 8:30 p.m., Sgt. Ed Crosby said.

The injuries were not believed to be life-threatening and the man, a Petaluma resident, is expected to survive, he said.

An investigation is ongoing and police are not releasing further details, Crosby said.
