San Jose Police Officer involved shooting near the city’s Cimarron Park

San Jose police are investigating an officer-involved shooting near the city’s Cimarron Park early this morning, a police sergeant said. Officers responded to reports of a man with a shotgun in the 3300 block of Holly Drive shortly after 3 a.m., Sgt. Heather Randol said.

Shots were fired shortly after officers arrived, she said. A man was shot at least once and transported for unknown injuries, Randol said. No officers were injured, she said. The details of the shooting are still under investigation and no further details were immediately available.
