Diego Valle arrested for alleged hit and run Jan. 17 at Trousdale and Martinez drives in Burlingame

Police in Burlingame arrested a man this week in connection with a hit and run from last month. Following an investigation from a Jan. 17 hit-and-run accident that hospitalized a pedestrian, police arrested 22-year-old Diego Valle, of Burlingame, on Tuesday, police said. Valle’s car was located Sunday and police obtained an arrest warrant and issued it to Valle at his work, according to police.

At about 6:40 p.m. on Jan. 17, Valle allegedly hit a pedestrian crossing the intersection of Trousdale and Martinez drives. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries but not life-threatening, police said. Valle was booked into San Mateo County Jail on suspicion of hit and run, causing injury.
