Police negotiators are trying to get a barricaded suspect out of a Fairfield house where he was reportedly threatening family members with a gun earlier this afternoon.
Officers responded to the 1100 block of Cormorant Court at 1:27 p.m. after receiving reports that someone in a house there was breaking things and threatening family members with a gun, police said.
Police managed to get the rest of the family out of the house, but the suspect remains inside. A SWAT team has responded to try to negotiate with the person but so far has not been able to, police said.
