A man was arrested after apparently intentionally setting a fire at Bayview Park in San Francisco this afternoon, police said. Officers responded around 2:05 p.m. to the park at Bayview Park Road and Key Avenue after a call came in about a person setting trees on fire, police said.

Police and fire crews arrived, found a man who matched descriptions of the arsonist and arrested him. His name has not yet been released, police said. Fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the flames, which burned some trees and brush, fire officials said.
