Police are trying to track down three suspects who pistol-whipped and robbed workers at a Chipotle restaurant in Pinole over the weekend. The robbery occurred around 10 p.m. Sunday just after closing time at the Chipotle at 2696 Pinole Valley Road, according to police. Police said the trio entered the business through a rear door, then pistol-whipped and beat four workers and stole cash from the business.

The suspects fled in a tan-colored sedan that may be an older-model Toyota, according to police. Officers searched the area but were unable to find the car. Police said the three suspects covered their faces with hooded sweatshirts and may have been wearing masks. Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage from the restaurant today and may be releasing that video to the public, Pinole police Sgt. Matt Avery said.
