Concord shooting on Oakmead and Lani Kai Drives in 7-Eleven parking lot two victims

Concord police are seeking more information in a shooting that happened early Saturday morning, a police lieutenant said. Police responded to a shooting on Oakmead and Lani Kai Drives at about 12:20 a.m., Lt. David Hughes said. Upon arrival police found a 21-year-old man in the parking lot of a nearby 7-Eleven store and a 19-year-old man on Lani Kai Drive both with gunshot wounds, he said.

Both were transported for what were considered non life-threatening injuries, according to Hughes. The victims were uncooperative with officers and detectives are working to determine the circumstances of the shooting, Hughes said.
