The Marin County Sheriff’s Office are looking for three men who robbed a Greenbrae home and held a resident at gunpoint on Friday morning, a sheriff’s lieutenant said. Deputies received a call of the robbery in the 100 block of Nadina Way in Greenbrae around 11:40 a.m., Lt. Doug Pittman said. The victim told police that one of the three suspects rang his doorbell and was looking for a woman at the home, Pittman said. When the resident said she was not, the suspect pulled out a gun from behind his back and forced the victim back into the home, he said.

One of the suspects forced the victim to lay face down on the ground as the two other men robbed the home, Pittman said. The victim also told deputies that the suspects asked him where cash and other valuables were in the home, according to Pittman. The suspects eventually tied the victim and locked him in a linen closet where he stayed for about 20 to 25 minutes before calling 911, he said. Deputies searched the area but were unable to find the suspects.

They are described at black male adults in their early to mid 20s each wearing dark colored hoodies.
