Angela Rose Black, 30, of Vallejo is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday morning in Solano County Superior Court in Vallejo for the shooting murder of a 47-year-old Timothy Lee Hawkes at a Vallejo mobile home park on Wednesday. Black was arrested as she tried to leave the Vallejo Mobile Estates on Lincoln Road West, police said. She was booked under no bail in the Solano County jail at 4:14 p.m. Wednesday for murder and attempted murder, according to the jail booking log.

Police officers responded at 5:45 a.m. Wednesday to the shooting at the Vallejo Mobile Estates and found Hawkes inside a mobile home in the 100 block of San Miguel Road. He was pronounced dead at a hospital. Police searched for the suspect who was described as a white or Asian woman in her 30’s. Police initially said she was naked when she was arrested. Court records show Black was found mentally incompetent and committed to a treatment center on Sept. 17, 2012. Solano County Deputy District Attorney Karen Jensen said Black was charged with vehicle theft and second-degree commercial burglary that occurred in November 2011 in Vallejo.
