Police have shut down a mobile home park in Vallejo as they search for a woman who fatally shot a man there early this morning, a police lieutenant said. Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the Vallejo Mobile Estates in the 100 block of San Miguel Road at about 5:45 a.m., Vallejo police Lt. Kenny Park said.
They arrived and went to a home to check the resident’s welfare, and found a man shot inside, Park said. The man, believed to be in his 40s, was taken to a hospital where he died. Police began searching for the shooter, a woman described as “completely unclothed” who fled on foot. A SWAT team has been sent to the scene, Park said.
“They believe they have a possible lead, they’re getting ready to search that area,” he said at about 8:15 a.m. The entrances to the mobile home park have been shut down, he said.
