Police are asking the public for help in locating a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred at a convenience store in Livermore on Sunday evening.
At about 6 p.m. that day, a male suspect entered the 7-Eleven store at 1339 N. Vasco Road, police said.
After all the customers had exited the store, the suspect approached the counter, brandished a handgun and demanded money from the cash register, according to police.
The store clerk complied and the suspect fled with about $150 in cash. The clerk was not injured in the robbery, police said.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic man about 20 to 21 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and roughly 150 pounds, according to police. He was wearing a blue baseball hat and a blue pattern hooded sweatshirt.
Investigators have released surveillance images from the 7-Eleven in the hopes that someone can identify the suspect.
