Police investigate shooting in Oakland, Suspect Unidentified

Police in OAKLAND are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a suspect who shot a man Friday night.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area of 55th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. way at about 9 p.m., police said.

A man had been shot and was driven to a hospital by the time officers arrived at the scene, police said.

The man is expected to survive.
