Police in Oakland and Fremont are seeking the public’s help in finding bank robbery suspects in their respective cities.
Oakland police said they are seeking an armed man who is suspected of robbing the Citibank branch at 3304 Grand Ave. earlier today.
Police said he’s described as a white man in his late 20s who is about 6-feet 2 inches tall and 140 pounds with a blonde goatee. They said he was wearing sunglasses, a gray Oakland Raiders hat and a gray hooded sweatshirt.
Oakland police said people with information about the robbery or the suspect should call them at (510) 777-3333 or (510) 238-3326.
Fremont police said they’re seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect in a robbery at the US Bank branch at 38980 Paseo Padre Parkway at about 10:25 a.m. on Monday.
Police said the suspect entered the bank, handed a robbery demand letter to an employee and the employee complied with his request.
The man then fled on foot southbound with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to authorities.
Police described the suspect a black man who is about 25 to 35 years old, stands between 5 feet 9 inches and 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs between 175 and 195 pounds with a medium build and short cropped hair.
They said the man was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a logo over the left breast area and a gray lining on the hood.
No weapons were used or seen in the incident, according to police.
