A 35-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly walking into a home in San Francisco’s Bayview District, demanding money, and then stabbing another man, police said today. Marcus Harrison, a San Francisco resident, was arrested after the stabbing, which was reported at 5:57 a.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of Revere Avenue, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said. Police said Harrison and another suspect walked into the open door of the victim’s home and demanded money.
The victim, a 38-year-old man, was then stabbed, according to police. The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, and is expected to survive, Esparza said. Harrison was arrested at about 7 a.m. and booked into jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, robbery and possession of stolen property, sheriff’s spokeswoman Susan Fahey said.
