Robbery in South San Francisco, Police Investigating

South San Francisco police are looking for a suspect in a strong-arm robbery that occurred late Thursday night. The victim was getting into his car in the 200 block of Aspen Avenue shortly after 11:30 p.m. when an unknown male suspect approached from behind and grabbed a gold chain and pendant around his neck, police said.

The chain broke and fell to the ground, and the suspect fled on foot with the pendant, running west on Aspen Avenue, police said. No weapon was displayed and the victim did not suffer any injuries, police said. The suspect is described as a tall Hispanic man who is between 30 and 35 years old with a thin build. He was clean-shaven and wore a dark jacket and dark jeans, police said.
