The Escondido Police Department is still seeking Federico Ramos four years after he allegedly murdered Daniel Alexander. According to witnesses, Daniel was walking with two friends ( a married couple) to their home when they came upon a large house party next door.
They walked up the shared driveway between the two homes but were stopped and surrounded by several of the 100 or so partygoers, including gang members. He said the three friends explained that they weren’t party crashers and were headed to the home next door.
That’s when Ramos allegedly told Daniel and his friends, “Hang on, I got something for you,” got a gun and started firing at Daniel and his two friends.
One of the bullets grazed Alexander’s face. Another pierced his chest. He died at the scene. His friends ran, escaping injury.
