Brian Todd sex offender arrested in Salinas for failing to register

Deputies on Tuesday arrested a transient man in Salinas for failing to register as a sex offender, Monterey County sheriff’s officials said. Deputies on the sheriff’s Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement task force arrested Brian Todd, 47, on Tuesday at about 4:50 p.m., in the area of La Posada Drive and Natividad Road, according to sheriff’s officials. Todd was arrested for failing to register as a transient sex offender, according to the sheriff’s office. He was taken into custody at the Monterey County Jail without incident.
