Bank Robbery in City of Riverbank, Deputies Release Suspect Photo

The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department Riverbank Police Services are investigating a robbery that occurred earlier this afternoon.

At approximately 2:50 PM Deputies were dispatched to Delta National Bank at 2401 Patterson Rd in the City of Riverbank.

Witnesses stated a white male, approximately 25-35 years old, wearing a black long sleeve shirt, black baseball hat, tan or grey shorts and black shoes walked into the bank. The suspect did not wear any type of mask or attempt to conceal his face.

The suspect handed the clerk a note demanding money. The clerk gave him an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect ran out the front door, fleeing on foot.

Sheriff’s Detectives are currently working the case and following up all leads, including surveillance video of the suspect provided by the banks.
