A man has died of his injuries after being shot outside the Sundance Kabuki movie theater in San Francisco’s Lower Pacific Heights neighborhood early this morning, police and fire officials said. At about 1:45 a.m., police received a report of shots fired in the 1800 block of Post Street, between Fillmore and Webster streets, officers said.

A fire dispatcher said a man was transported to a local hospital with at least one gunshot wound. San Francisco police said the victim died as a result of his injuries shortly thereafter. Police have not yet released the victim’s name, a motive for the shooting or any suspect information.
