A man was arrested in Pacifica on Monday after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman, according to police. The victim told police she was walking on Manor Drive near Monterey Road near Milagra Ridge County Park when she was approached by a man she did not know at about 9:45 a.m., police said.
The woman reported being restrained and sexually assaulted by the suspect, who was later identified as 25-year-old Pacifica resident Jeremy Castro, police said. Castro was located within five minutes of the reported assault and arrested, police said. He was booked into San Mateo County Jail on suspicion of felony sexual battery, false imprisonment and violating probation charges, police said.
