Petaluma police looking for man who knocked person unconscious outside bar

Petaluma police are looking for man who knocked a person unconscious in front of a bar early Tuesday morning. Officers responded at 12:22 a.m. to a report of the assault in front of The Hide-Away bar at 128 Kentucky St., police said. The suspect is described as a Hispanic or Samoan man, approximately 25 years old, standing about 6 feet 3 inches to 6 feet 4 inches tall with long brown hair pulled into a ponytail and sides of his head shaved. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and jeans, police said. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Petaluma police at (707) 778-4372.
