Four people, including two juveniles, were arrested Monday night in connection with a series of armed robberies that occurred throughout San Jose earlier that day, police said. There were at least eight robberies Monday in which one or more suspects approached a victim, brandished a gun and demanded property or money, police said.
One victim was an 11-year-old girl who was riding her skateboard in south San Jose when she was robbed at gunpoint, police said. None of the victims were injured in the robberies. The suspects, two males and two females, were arrested around 10 p.m. during a high-risk traffic stop by a gang investigations unit working overtime, police said. The names and ages of the suspects have not been released.
