Police in San Bruno are asking for the public’s help in investigating a home burglary that took place on Monday morning. A resident in the 2900 block of Rollingwood Drive left home between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., and returned to find a sofa blocking the front door from inside, according to San Bruno police. The resident was unable to detect anyone in the residence and went to a neighbor’s house to call police. A subsequent investigation revealed a burglar had forced open a rear window to break into the house, police said. The suspect stole money, jewelry and other personal items.
