Robbery of Charity Bingo Game in San Jose

Police in San Jose are investigating an armed robbery that occurred during a Bingo event at a local high school on Wednesday night. The robbery occurred at Oak Grove High School, located at 285 Blossom Hill Road, at about 9:25 p.m., police said. A suspect, armed with a gun, approached a coordinator of the Bingo game and demanded money, according to police. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled on foot. Police said the suspect remains at large today.
