Wanted by U.S. Marshals and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office for Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance
On December 12, 2012, agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office intercepted Bryan Calcott, age 34, as he was flying on a privately chartered jet from Oakland International Airport to Teterboro International Airport in Teterboro, New Jersey.
Calcott, who was not detained at the time, was later found to have smuggled two large containers filled with over 100lbs of processed marijuana onto the plane. Calcott was later charged and is now considered a fugitive.
Calcott is aware of the charges against him and is actively evading law enforcement. Calcott, who was born in Texas, has previously served time in federal prison for narcotics charges. Calcott has extensive family ties to San Francisco and Texas, and is thought to be hiding in either state.
Calcott promotes himself as a concert promoter and manager.
