Man Shot in Antioch Friday Evening

A 41-year-old man is expected to survive after being shot and injured in Antioch on Friday evening, a police lieutenant said today. Police responded to reports of a man shot around 5:20 p.m. in the 2400 block of Horizon Lane, according to Antioch police Lt. John Vanderklugt.

Officers arriving on the scene found the man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds that were not life threatening. The man was taken to a hospital where he was listed in stable condition this morning, police said. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, which remains under investigation.
