Bar None at 1481 Tara Hills Drive in Pinole robbed

Investigators are attempting to locate a suspect who robbed a bar in Pinole at gunpoint on Monday. Police said officers responded around 10:50 a.m. to reports of a robbery at Bar None at 1481 Tara Hills Drive, but the suspect had already fled the scene. A short time earlier, the suspect had entered the bar, brandished a handgun and demanded money from an employee, according to police.

The worker complied and the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was harmed during the robbery. Police said the suspect is described as a white male about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall who weighs 150 to 170 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a ski mask over his face, a bulky black ski jacket, blue jeans and light colored Converse-style shoes, police said.
