Two Burglaries in Scotts Valley, Police Investigating

Police in Scotts Valley are continuing to investigate a pair of burglaries at two local businesses last week. The first burglary was reported around 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 17 at Jia Tella’s restaurant at 18 Victor Square, police said. An intruder had forced entry into the restaurant and stolen a safe, according to police. A day later, a business at 10 Victor Square was reported burglarized. Someone had forced entry there and taken several items, police said. Police are still investigating whether the crimes are related.
