West Valley City police in Utah are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person that shot a wanted sex offender.
Detectives report that on November 21, 2013 officers found 36-year-old Stephen Sierra, with a gunshot wound. Sierra declined to tell police who shot him or any other details regarding the shooting.
Police report that Stephen Sierra is currently a registered sex offender and was wanted as an AP&P parolee at large.
When Sierra asked someone for a cigarette, that person noticed Sierra was shot and called police.
According to a press release from West Valley City police, detectives said Sierra told them: “…it’s karma, I deserve to have been shot.”
